Woundhealing with Hyaluronic Acid
works well on humans and petsHyiodine
Activates Healing...... Naturally
HYIODINE® is a medical device designed to heal a wide range of chronic, non-healing wounds. It is a completely new approach to the healing of complicated and chronic wounds that is based on scientific knowledge of the natural process of tissue repair. This product draws on the excellent regenerative properties of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the human body. This substance can also be found in increased quantities in the skin, where it ensures that the correct water content is maintained. As hyaluronic acid has the ability to bind large amounts of fluid, it also plays an important role in the wound healing process.
After application of HYIODINE® to the wound, the hyaluronic acid draws fluid from the wound (called exudate) and, with it, also draws growth and nutritional factors from the healthy area around the wound, which are substances positively affecting the healing process. This process results in the concentration of these essential substances in the wound, which improves the healing process. The naturally moist environment created by hyaluronic acid in the wound also promotes cell renewal and growth.
Another important ingredient of HYIODINE®, complementing the hyaluronic acid, is the iodine complex. This complex also allows the HYIODINE®to be used in the treatment of infected wounds. It helps to stabilize hyaluronic acid in the product and prevents its degradation by bacteria. The amount of iodine in the product is very low in comparison with conventional iodine products and therefore poses no risk of allergic reaction in patients. It is commonly used to heal diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, bed sores, wounds complicated by fistulae, acute wounds such as cuts or lacerations, superficial burns (typ II a+b) and complicated wounds after surgery, or decubitus.
HYIODINE®is sold in 50 g packs. Each pack contains enough for several treatments, depending on the size of the wound to be healed. For example, a 50 g pack is sufficient for one month's daily application in the treatment of 5x 5 cm wounds. For purposes of application, we recommend that, when you buy HYIODINE®, you also purchase ordinary gauze squares (of a size corresponding to the wound) and several ordinary plastic syringes, which will make it easier to remove gel from the bottle.
Anigran
Animals wound care and healing with confidence
ANIGRAN® is a sterile viscous solution of sodium hyaluronate. It hydrates wounds, creates suitable healing conditions and also prevents adhesion of dressing to the wound. This product draws on the excellent regenerative properties of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the mammal organism. This substance can also be found in increased quantities in the skin, where it ensures that the correct water content is maintained. As hyaluronic acid has the ability to bind large amounts of fluid, it also plays an important role in the wound healing process.
After application of ANIGRAN® to the wound, the hyaluronic acid draws fluid from the wound (called exudate) and, with it, also draws growth and nutritional factors from the healthy area around the wound, which are substances positively affecting the healing process. This process results in the concentration of these essential substances in the wound, which improves the healing process. The naturally moist environment created by hyaluronic acid in the wound also promotes cell renewal and growth.
ANIGRAN® is used to cover, clean and hydrate deep wounds, bites, infected wounds, large abrasions, post-operation wounds, difficult-to-heal wounds, pressure sores, burns, and skin defects. ANIGRAN® is suitable for all animal species.
Another important ingredient of ANIGRAN®, complementing the hyaluronic acid, is the iodine complex. This complex allows the ANIGRAN® to be used in the treatment of infected wounds. It helps to stabilize hyaluronic acid in the product and prevents its degradation by bacteria. The amount of iodine in the product is very low in comparison with conventional iodine products and therefore it doesn't smart so that there will be no hard defence reaction of the patients.

Hyaluronan in Wound healing
The natural role of Hyaluronan in Wound healing
With a tissue injury, individual components of extracellular matrix are damaged not only mechanically, but also, and in particular, by bacteria or by the body's own immune cells. Injury results in hyaluronan fragmentation in hyaluronan with very low molecular weight. These small fragments activate the immune cells and thus support the first phase of the wound healing process – inflammation. At the same time they activate cells responsible for the regenerative phase of the wound healing process.
Hyaluronan is one of the first components synthesized at the point of injury. Its subsequent role is to create a proper moist environment in the wound, to support the synthesis of other parts of connective tissue and cell reproduction, and to ensure the proper arrangement of the extracellular matrix. Hyaluronan plays different roles in the body depending on its molecular weight. High molecular weight hyaluronan can be seen as an organizer of the extracellular matrix.
It forms a net-like structure in the extracellular area; this ability enables it to interact with proteoglycans, proteins and cell receptors. Hyaluronan organizes the extracellular matrix structure and integrates individual cells into the matrix. It is also expected to be responsible for the correct organization and orientation of collagen fibres and microfibrils. Due to hyaluronan's ability to interact with a cell´s receptors (CD44, RHAMM) hyaluronan can place cells into the extracellular matrix and at the same time it participates in cell migration, as cells migrate along hyaluronan fibres.
Hyaluronan is an anionic polysaccharide with a high affinity to water. Together with proteoglycans (which also contain anionic polysaccharides), hyaluronan is responsible for extracellular matrix hydration, which facilitates the free penetration of nutrients and oxygen and does not prevent signal cells from diffusion in the tissue.
In accordance with modern wound healing theory, it seems, that hyaluronan attracts the "healing cocktail" and at the same time reduces the content of the TGF factor in the "cocktail". (TGF is one of the factors responsible for scar formation.)
